One of my favorite summer fabrics is white eyelet. It can be dressed up or down, and the design (which looks like "eyes") is very summery. With Labor Day fast approaching, I know some will be preparing to swear off white pants, so white on white outfits probably won't be seen again until next spring.

  White on white is one of my favorite summer combos, although I never really applied it with pants this year. I've had these white eyelet jeans for a while now (I brought them to Canada and wore them twice but sadly never photographed the outfit!) and they quickly became my favorite pant of the summer. Considering I rarely wear pants or jeans, that says a lot. I really liked how the eyelet fabric made the denim more feminine. I also love that they come in black, which will be perfect for fall! Nothing screams summer more than blue and white stripes! I added three espadrilles to my closet this year (this one, this one, and this one) after not wearing them for several years, plus espadrilles certainly made a comeback this summer. In my white eyelet and blue and white stripes, I feel ready for a trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard (two very popular summer destinations!).
