2018 Trends: The Western Boot

My love of boots is no secret. Every autumn and winter season, I seem to accumulate more boots as the styles and trends change with each passing year. This year, there has been one boot trend that has surprisingly caught my eye - the western boot. I use the word "surprisingly" since for a long time, I considered cowboy boots or country boots to be more on the masculine side than feminine. But as my style grows, so does my open mindedness. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="16952,16958"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="16951,16953"] [highlight_box id="1"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="16959,16956"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="16955,16961"] I now find myself very much liking the western boot trend and settled on the perfect pair by Ganni as it's two colors - navy and burgundy. Ganni also happens to be one of my favorite brands, as they're not only Danish (like myself) but they support sustainable fashion. They also have a beautiful black and white pair of tall western boots that I've been seeing pop up on my Instagram feed here and there. However, there are so many gorgeous western boots right now, as it's currently one of the top style trends of the season. Boots can either help complete a look or be the main focal point. In this case, the western boot is screaming to be the focal point. They can be paired beautifully with a skirt (even a maxi one) or a skinny jean with an feminine, oversized blouse. The white boot trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, and white western boots are a big hit this autumn season. I love this pair and this pair. I also love these dark buckled boots (and they're under $60!). You've probably seen many bloggers wearing these plaid boots lately on social media (and they're absolutely stunning). I happen to love this patterned faux fur boot, as it's a beautiful piece for autumn that'll transition well into winter.
