The Kooples military jacket (similar here, less expensive versions here, here, and here), Cami NYC polka dot camisole (less expensive version here), 1. State pleated skirt (on sale, also available here), Rebecca Minkoff bag (similar here), Stuart Weitzman boots (similar here and here), Brixton hat
What I love most about military jackets is their "regal appeal". It's no secret that I am a history buff and royal history guru, and wearing my military jacket gives me a somewhat royal-esque feeling. It can be either dressed up or down, worn with pants or a skirt or even a dress. I've worn my military jacket several times, including once at NYFW a few years ago (see post here), once in London while visiting Westminster Abbey for the fourth time, and once in Sevilla (see post here). All of those looks featured pants, so I decided to shake up my usual way of dressing my military jacket. But I have also had my eye on this one, especially the red version. There's also this one and this one that are also chic and can be styled with anything. I think pairing my jacket with a pleated skirt might be one of my favorite ways I have styled it, especially this pleated skirt. It's silky, smooth, and flows when I walk, which I prefer since I am not really a fan of tulle. It also gives the whole look a more feminine appeal, which you all know is how I prefer to style myself. I look forward to styling more military jackets this season and throughout winter. There’s one jacket I really tend to favor and reach for at this time of year, and that’s my beloved military jacket. I’ve had mine for years, as it’s something that’s never gone out of style and most likely won’t for a long time. It’s a classic, chic staple in anyone’s closet.

Such a pretty outfit! The shiny skirt and the red in jacket and the bag make it look christmassy! Perfect for the upcoming Christmas season !!
Thank you!
