Flannel
Flannel pajamas are synonymous with the holidays. It's a thicker fabric, making your holiday mornings extra toasty warm and cozy. There's even a thing called flannel bedsheets if you want to give your bed a touch of the holidays too! These pajamas are my favorite flannel holiday pajamas, as well as these pajamas which are the long version of the ones I wore last year. I also love this one and this one.Cotton
Cotton is one of the easiest fabrics to find the perfect holiday pajamas in, it just comes down to choosing the best pattern! There's plaid, tartan, gingham, stripe, and check patterns that are perfect for this time of year, but cute cotton pajamas with holiday greetings are also perfect! I love this one, this one, and this one.Silk & Satin
You probably wouldn't think silk or satin would make for great winter pajamas, but actually they do! Some of my coziest winter pajamas are silk or satin, thus making them perfect for the holidays. I love love love this one, but I also love this one and this one.Onesies
This is probably the most popular holiday tradition - holiday onesies! Our in-laws are coming to spend Christmas with us, and I'd love nothing more than to surprise them with holiday onesies that they have to wear on Christmas morning. This onesie is very festive, as is this one, but you can always decide to go as a reindeer in a reindeer onesie! Do you have any traditions for holiday pajamas at your house? Which pajamas will you be donning this year?Photos by Torrance Coombs.
While most people tend to think about what they will wear to holiday dinners and parties, Tor and I happen to take holiday pajamas a bit seriously. One year, for Christmas in Canada with his family, we wore matching Christmas onesies that featured ice hockey. Last year, I wore plaid with knee high cable knit socks. This year, since we will be celebrating Christmas at home and we have decorated our house to look like the North Pole, you can bet that we will be wearing some cozy holiday pajamas come Christmas morning!
Most people tend to think of plaid for holiday pajamas, and I do too. But there are also other cute holiday pajama ideas, such as crisp satin or smooth silk pajamas. Flannel pajamas are also popular for the holidays especially if it’s cold and snowing outside. Cotton pajamas with adorable holiday quotes and riddles are also cute, especially if everyone in the family wears one! I have yet to figure out which pajamas we will wear, but I can be sure it’ll be one of these below! What I do know is it’ll be something cozy as we gather around our dining room table to eat cinnamon buns or my famous banana bread french toast!

I love cozy pjs! When my kids were younger we would buy them new pajamas to open and wear on Christmas Eve. Teenagers are less excited about candy cane pajamas though. I love the socks you’re wearing. I bought them after you mentioned them in your Iceland blogs and I’ve worn the set almost every day. So warm and cozy!
Yay! I am so glad you got the socks! They are definitely comfy 🙂
