If you are like me and prefer to live in dresses all day every day, then finding perfect beach dresses that can take you from day to night - especially while on vacation - is a must. From a day on the beach to a romantic seaside dinner, whether it be abroad or at your favorite local seaside joint, wearing a dress that can last you all day and night is an essential find.
You all know I will find any excuse to don a dress, but if you are also like me and plan each trip with a designated and specific itinerary, sometimes there may not always be a moment or a place to change. Beach dresses are the perfect excuse to wear a dress that'll take you from breakfast to a day on the beach to a sunset dinner.

While I love to wear as many dresses and outfits as I can in one day when traveling, sometimes I have to be prepared for those days where that isn't as possible. It's especially helpful while on vacation to have at least one dress that can be worn all day, as it also helps lighten your suitcase load (I know my husband is reading this right now and thinking I should practice what I preach more...).

While we were in Mexico last month (see posts here and here), I packed a few beach dresses that took me from day to night. I'm sharing some of my favorite beach dresses below, including this one (now on sale!).

Love both dresses! Would have liked to see what the front of the first one looks like 🙂 The resort you picked sure looks stunning!
The A List
Hi Erika! The front of the dress can be seen in my original Cabo post 😉
Halie
I sort of love how I can practically see your husbands face as he gets to the part where you mention lightening the bags a little. I wish it were possible to just fly our closets with us when we take fun vacations and go on adventures, but sadly we must endure the hassle of only one carry on and the risk that our other bags face in the great beyond (often referred to as the cargo hold).
The A List
haha I refer to it as the cargo hold too! Now they have luggage with GPS tracking on it, and I am definitely looking into getting a few of those because I am always overpacking and always paranoid of the airline losing my luggage…
Rio
