Southern California doesn't typically have a fall season; our winters are what New Yorkers would call "fall". However, that doesn't mean I won't get to enjoy the fall season! Tor and I will be in Europe throughout fall so there will be plenty of time to wear some of my seasonal favorites.
A lot of people assume my favorite color is white or even pink. Fun fact: it's blue! Naturally, I tend to wear deeper colors in the fall and winter, and this blue dress with patterns fit the bill perfectly. I am also obsessed with it's bell sleeves (very romantic and feminine!).
This isn't the first time I have worn this dress. I also wore it to an event with my husband last month (click here) but paired it with a white clutch and heels instead. I like to find ways to recycle pieces from my closet, especially as we transition from season to season.

While it may not feel like it here in southern California, fall isn’t too far away now that we are practically in August. It’s hard to start thinking about fall while I melt in 100 degree heat, but I am looking forward to bringing out some of my favorite fall trends – patterns and fringe!
