Breaking Rules With White Pants

One of the most common fashion faux pas is wearing white pants after Labor Day and before Memorial Day. And whereas I find myself trying to obey these kinds of fashion rules, it's also incredibly fun and daring to break them once in a while. In the winter and spring, I find the idea of wearing white jeans and a comfy (and oversized, of course!) sweater quite chic and fashionable despite the rule. So when my new pair of white Madewell jeans arrived, I chose to pair it with one of my oversized blue and white sweaters from Whistles to complete the look.
