Well hello there A-Listers! It’s been a little while – I apologize! T and I have been slowly moving into our new home and we did not hire movers (yes, we are idiots) so it’s been a long, tiring process. Luckily we are about 90% moved in now and we couldn’t be happier! I am in love with our little home more and more each day. The cats are already adjusted! They definitely love all the space and the stairs (we have always lived in one-floor apartments so stairs are extra exciting to them). We won’t be starting the renovations until around the holidays, but I will definitely be documenting them here especially as I learn more about home decor!
So, I am sure by now most of you have heard the good news – T and I are officially engaged to be married! T proposed about 5 weeks ago now (trust me, that was a super hard secret to keep, especially choosing not to wear my ring at the CBS Summer Soiree less than a week later!). We kept it quiet since we had so much on our plate and wanted to be able to tell all our families and close friends first before we told the world (we actually didn’t call our parents to tell them we were engaged until the day after!). But now we are more than excited to share our good news with everyone!
Not a day goes by where we don’t loving call each other by our new names – fiancé and fiancée! I had a feeling he was going to be asking me soon (he kept dropping little hints), especially since our five year anniversary is coming up in July. So I kind of expected it to happen around then, but he surprised me one night in our apartment several weeks ago and of course I said yes. So not only have we been moving into our new house, but we have also been looking into planning our wedding! So much at once, but we couldn’t be any happier. Planning renovations AND a wedding should be a piece of cake…. right?
I asked my dear friend Krissy (her husband Ariel actually designed this very website!) to shoot our engagement shoot not long after we got engaged. I knew I wanted to wear white for the shoot so I chose this Maje “Rayane” Dress because not only is it white but I LOVE how it twirls. With me being a girly girl and our decision to shoot on the beach, it could not have been more perfect. T chose a blue suit to match my gorgeous engagement ring, which was designed by our friend Peter Young at Inta Gems and Diamonds and named “The Royal Alyssa Ring.” It definitely feels royal!

You are my real life OTP so much that since you announced your engagement on Instagram every time I hear about you – or simply you two pop into my mind, actually, and it may seem strange and somewhat creepy because we don’t know each other, but I’m a big fan of your blog and of Torrance in Reign and it happens quiet a lot – I notice a HUGE smile opens up on my face!
Sorry about the loooong comment and the many mistakes in it, but even if I’m from Italy I wanted to give you my biggest congratulations.

love the tittle every engaged couple feels like that i feel inlove everyday with my boo now my fiancee i love the dress i remember myself the moment he got the ring in was memorable because it our anniversary i wish more happiness and enjoy planning our wedding
