When T and I were informed that we had been invited to the Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monaco and that T was nominated for an Outstanding Actor Award, of course we were very excited. Monaco was the fifth stop on our tour of Europe (I had first visited the principality in December 2011 during my reign as Miss USA). This season, the collection at Reiss was inspired by the French Riviera, so it was only fitting to wear some of my favorite Reiss pieces while in Monte Carlo. When I picture the French Riviera, my inner Grace Kelly comes out and the girly girl in me just wants to frolick the seaside streets in flowing dresses (I could NOT wait to wear this coral maxi dress from Reiss). It was super hot and humid in Monaco this past week, so dressing comfortably was essential. Plus, we were informed that besides daytime press tours and evening cocktails, there would be a night at the Prince’s Palace where we would be introduced to His Serene Highness Prince Albert II. With that in mind, and taking notes from the Duchess of Cambridge, I knew Reiss was appropriate, classy, and stylish to wear, especially to such a royal function, so I wore a green lace dress from Reiss that I spotted back in Los Angeles that certainly made me feel like royalty. We spent four fabulous days in Monaco (with multiple outfit changes!) before returning to London.
