It’s almost 2017! It feels like this year has flown by. From travels abroad to our wedding to new adventures in our careers, 2016 was certainly a year full of incredible memories made.
Since I began blogging in 2014, something I have noticed is my style evolution. As I get older and as I keep blogging and traveling, I’ve noticed my style develop its niche. Even looking back on some of my favorite looks of 2016, I have noticed such changes from January to December. It’s exciting and endearing looking back on this past year so I have gathered some of my favorite looks from 2016 and put them in one final post before we ring in 2017.
Which look was your favorite? Comment below!

I absolutely LOVE this post 😀 You posted a lot of your our outfits, and I love them all! My faves are the ones that you wore during your honeymoon in Italy (my country): they’re so feminine and classy, I’m in love! (I wish I could meet you you and Tor but unfortunately I couldn’t came to Milan the day you were there 🙁 ) Anyway I wish you a happy new year! 2016 has flown, with good and bad moments. I would like to thank you, Alyssa, because you became an inspiration for me: I started to follow your style, I try to imitate your oufits but you’re also a beautiful person, inside and out! So thank you for being such a good model to me ♥
Hi Francesca! Happy New Year! I’m so flattered and honored to be your inspiration 🙂 I hope to continue to inspire you <3
Considering I just pinned almost all of these, it’s hard to choose! But I love the Christmas look with the plaid skirt and red heels; the third look – white dress and sandals; the Red Valentino trench coat with the over-the-knee boots and the first look from BC, because a Canadian has to love that!
Thank you, Astrid! The Christmas look was one of my favorite this year as well! I couldn’t wait to share that look with you all. As an honorary Canadian now, I’m glad to see you approve of my BC look!
I will forever love your military-inspired fashion week outfit, which I touched upon in a fashion week street style post on my blog. However, all of your outfits were beautiful, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2017!

Aww thank you so much Emily! I actually repeated that military outfit last night at the Eiffel Tower. I love recycling looks and I am so glad to hear you enjoyed it! Happy New Year!
I loved the white dress where you’re holding the hat, and the black top and long flowing white skirt in front of the fountain. But the outfit with the long grey jacket is great too. I like almost all of them actually. I wish I had a lifestyle/style where I mostly wore dresses!
Thank you so much Andrea! <3
