I think it’s important everyone has their own little space, whether it be a man’s man cave or a woman’s outdoor garden retreat. For me, it’s my desk space. In both my homes in Los Angeles and Toronto, I have always made sure there was room for my little space. I always need to have fresh flowers, a candle, some of my favorite books at the moment, and space for my planner and computer.
My beau was so sweet and got me fresh yellow roses when I arrived home from a recent weekend trip away. Even if I purchase flowers for myself, having flowers in the vicinity of my workspace instantly brightens my mood.
We all know my obsession with candles, especially Bath & Body Works candles. I still have my London Calling candle at my desk. I am also constantly updating my schedule in my Erin Condren planner, which I always keep at my desk.
I am a bookworm, and all the bookshelves we bought at our home in Los Angeles still aren’t enough to house all the books I own. Currently at my desk in Toronto, I have Kate’s Style, The Honest Life, What Would Grace Do?, The Tao of Twitter, Modern Manners, What Would Audrey Do?, and Blog Inc. I also have two extra notebooks to jot down ideas and a geo cutout pencil cup to hold all my pens and pencils.
Adorable desk space! Can’t wait to read more posts from you. Love you Alyssa!
