After a quick 2-hour drive (well, it was quick for me because I fell asleep in the passenger seat!) we arrived in East Hampton at our hotel, The Maidstone. After settling in to our rooms, we headed off to a vineyard at the Wölffer Estate. After being given a tour of the wine cellar, we were treated to a wine tasting of rosé, white, and red wines while being served an assortment of cheeses. For a moment, I forgot I was in New York and thought I had been transported to the south of France.
