It’s almost time to say goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016. I must say I am rather excited about 2016! So far the first five months of the new year will be incredibly busy and adventurous, and I cannot wait. 2016 will also be the most romantic year of my life, if you get my hint.

For the past few years, New Year’s has come and go for T and I. Last year, T and I were having a marathon of American Horror Story (it was our first time seeing it) at home when we looked at the clock and it said 12:05 am. Oops!
This year, T and I plan on celebrating New Year’s with friends – perhaps getting a little naughty with some Cards Against Humanity and a Nathan For You marathon. One thing I will never turn down is a fun party with friends!
Besides casual, laid-back parties, there’s also plenty of fancy New Year’s parties that happen around Los Angeles, and after my last post where I talk about how much I love dressing up for Christmas, you can imagine how much I love to dress up for New Year’s!
I first saw this ballgown skirt months ago and was initially planning to wear it to a wedding, but then chose to save it for the holidays. The polka dots make it fun and playful, plus I certainly feel like a princess in it.
Skirt: Eliza J (available in other colors here and here) | Top: French Connection (old, similar here and here) | Bag: French Connection (old, similar here) | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik | Lips: Charlotte Tilbury
