With spring around the corner, we are beginning to make that transition in our closets from winter to spring. However, it isn’t just our clothes that need transitioning but our shoes too! Especially boots. In the winter, we tend to wear taller, heavier boots with linings to keep our footsies warm and with enough traction on the bottom so we don’t slip on ice and land on our precious bums (ok I will admit that since I am a klutz I am always falling on my precious bum). But with spring around the corner, I know I will be switching out my snow boots for lighter, casual boots.
Easy ankle boots: One thing I love about ankle boots is being able to slip them on and off with ease. Plus they go with everything! I can wear them with shorts, jeans, a dress, or a skirt. I always have a pair of brown booties and black booties in my closet. You can’t go wrong with black or brown. I also love my combat boots. I have a pair of tall ones but also a pair of shorter ones that always come in handy.
Lace booties: How cute are these lace booties from Forever 21? These little booties would go perfectly with a pair of denim shorts or denim capris and a cute flowy top! So perfect for spring!
Tall boots: I love me some tall boots. Now that spring is almost here, that means no more snow and ice (hopefully) to cover the streets and sidewalks, which makes heeled boots a lot easier (and safer!) to walk in. Tan/beige boots like these work best in the spring and fall, in my opinion. But the boots I am REALLY excited about that I just got from Dune are these black suede boots!! I think every woman should have a pair of tall black boots in their closet, and these fit the bill! They can convert to an over the knee boot or under the knee boot with easy buckles. With the perfect pair of jeans, I will be rocking these boots A LOT this spring!
Color boots: Why just stick with black and brown when boots these days come in a plethora of colors? These green booties from Sam Edelman are so unique and different. These boots can easily go with denim or a cute skirt! Plus they have a little heel to them which I think is really cute!
