I’m not sure if many of you know that when you rock denim on denim it’s called a “Canadian Tuxedo.” Before I started dating a Canadian, I had no idea! In my freshman year of high school I thought rocking denim jeans with a denim jacket (in the same washed out color) was super cool. At some point that changed, and soon I was turned off by denim on denim. I thought it was too much.
Recently, I have noticed that the Canadian tuxedo is starting to make more of a comeback. It wasn’t until I saw in fashion magazines for spring/summer 2014 that mixing two different colors of denim is probably the most chic way to rock a Canadian tuxedo. So I decided to give it a try, and once again I am a fan of denim on denim. I suggest if you want to rock a dark chambray shirt, then you should go with a lighter colored jean. And vice versa. If you have a lighter denim top, then a darker colored jean would look chic.
My favorite jeans are from Madewell (as seen in this post). I think I own about 5 or 6 pairs! They are perfect jeans that last a long time and fit extremely well. I also love skinny low jeans from H&M and high-rise BDG Jeans at Urban Outfitters. Madewell also has a great selection of chambray shirts, as does Forever 21. My favorite chambray shirt came from Shop Ruche (as seen in this post).

Hey there fantastic blog! Does running a blog like this take
a great deal of work? I’ve virtually no expertise in programming but I was hoping to start my
own blog in the near future. Anyway, should you have any suggestions
or techniques for new blog owners please share. I know this is
off topic but I just had to ask. Thanks a lot!
