One of my favorite things to do in Paris was to sit outside at a little cafe, order hot chocolate and a croissant in the morning or wine and cheese (and a cup of French onion soup because obviously the French do it better) in the afternoon, and people watch. Even though I’m not in Paris at the moment, I still like to recreate some of those moments here in Toronto.

For an afternoon out with T, I decided to reflect on my Parisian dreams and wore a striped top with an eyelet midi skirt. I finished the look with nude heels, a black cross body bag, and black sunglasses.
After spending some time last week visiting and taking care of a friend who was hospitalized with a illness, she was super sweet and surprised me with flowers. They were so beautiful, so T and I brought them on our little coffee date at the cafe.
This past summer season, I found myself really embracing midi skirts. They’re so classic and ladylike. A white eyelet skirt has so much versatility to it and has become a staple in my closet.
One of my favorite tops is this navy and white striped top from J. Crew. I’ve had it for almost two years now and it’s one of their staples. Who doesn’t love a striped tee?
Top: J. Crew | Skirt: Michael Kors (also available here, similar here) | Shoes: Steve Madden (old, similar here) | Bag: GiGi New York | Sunglasses: Elizabeth & James | Foundation: Charlotte Tilbury | Highlighter: NARS | Lips: Butter LONDON
