Seven Seven Cosmetics Setting Spray, Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita, YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizer in Bisque, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, LORAC Lip Crayon, Tom Ford Lipstick in Blush Nude
Since my pageant life ended a few years ago, the only true chance I get to glam up is during NYFW (or a few red carpet events back home). I tend to save smokey eyes for super glamorous events, so my go-to looks during events such as NYFW are what I like to call "natural glam", which is basically an emphasis on your natural beauty. My friend Emily Jimison has been doing my makeup for years, and recently she launched her own makeup line called Seven Seven Cosmetics. 7 happens to be my lucky number, so I personally approve of that title so much. Emily started doing my makeup when I was still Miss USA, and she's helped me transition my makeup look to be less for stage and more for everyday (but still with a little glam, of course). So I invited her over to my house for a little NYFW beauty prep before I flew to New York (Renly and Dany were there to take notes, too!). Call me boring but I tend to stick with browns, golds, and bronze eyeshadows. I feel like I look my best in those colors. Emily used Charlotte Tilbury's Dolce Vita palette on our prep. My eyes have been seduced by the dark side of the Force, and so I have very noticeable dark circles under my eyes. Emily knows how much I hate them. I use YSL's Touche Éclat Neutralizer in Bisque to help cover my dark circles before Emily applied my favorite concealer NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. My go-to lip look right now is using a LORAC Lip Crayon as a lip liner before applying my usual Tom Ford Blush Nude lipstick. Emily dabs on a little lip moisturizer to keep my lips from drying out (which they do easily). Psssst a little birdie told me lip balms are coming soon to Seven Seven Cosmetics! But the real award winner is what I use to finish the look completely. It's super important to make sure the makeup is set. NYFW in September has a tendency to be a hot, sweaty, humid, sweltering mess when it comes to the weather, and I don't want my makeup melting off my face. For every major event I have gone to over the past year, we have been using Seven Seven Cosmetics' Setting Spray, which is pretty much like a soft hairspray for your face (only less aggressive and no yucky after-taste). If my makeup is even thinking about stepping out of place, it'll be very disappointed. It's also very good for my skin because of its Green Tea ingredients, and so it gives my skin a little extra glow without being caked on. Just spritz before stepping out of the door and you're good to go for the rest of the day. Take that, humidity! And now I am ready to dive into NYFW! Stay tuned for more NYFW posts and be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to get a glimpse of my hustle and bustle life at NYFW! PS no makeup was applied to any animal in the production of this post, no matter how cutely one particular fluffy cat begged. Photos by Felicia Lasala. It’s that time of the year again! Well, it’s the second time of the year again. New York Fashion Week happens twice a year so there’s twice the fun and twice the style and beauty inspiration for all to enjoy. Usually I dive right into sharing my style from NYFW, but first I am giving you a sneak peek at my beauty prep as I run from show to show.

I love this make up! It looks simple but it’s beautiful at the same time 🙂 Are you going to attend Milan Fashion Week too? I hope to see you there x
Love this look! However, what shade of Lorac lip crayon was being used?
Ah the beautiful woman. We all love to look at her, talk about her, wonder about her. She’s got it all, right? The great job, beautiful friends, a date every night, men falling over themselves to be noticed and doors being opened for her — both literally and figuratively.
Good Luck for NYFW!!
