Believe it or not, it's already September! Not only did summer come and go, but it almost feels like this year is blazing by so fast, too. Luckily there are so many exciting things ahead to look forward to!

September is one of my favorite months of the year (and not just because my half birthday is on September 21) because it reminds me of back to school. There's something in the air that takes me back to growing up in New Jersey and anticipating the first day of school (which was always after Labor Day). We all know there's that rule about wearing white after Labor Day, but sometimes rules are meant to be broken. I'm not the only one planning on breaking the rule this September - many others have been ignoring the faux pas and wearing white post holiday for the past year or so. While fall is more of a time for darker colors such as violets, reds, and deep blues, white is still a color you can get away with wearing any time of the year. I am obsessed with the lace details on this off the shoulder top. This top goes well with a tight skirt for a sophisticated look or with jeans for a more casual look.
