It’s true, most of my fashion choices involve a skirt or a dress, but what are my key style staples when the occasion (or season) doesn’t call for a dress?
What I love about living in Los Angeles is how pretty predictable the weather is year-round. It makes wearing dresses and skirts very easy. But sometimes, like this year, the winters and springs are a bit harsher than normal. So what’s a girl to do? That’s where my other style staples come into play.
I don’t own shorts (okay, I own TWO pairs but that’s it) but I do have a few denim jeans in my closet that I like to pull out once in a while. One of my favorite looks with my jeans is to pair it with a nice statement blazer and a staple shoe. It pulls all the pieces together and looks finished and polished without being over the top.
