I always try to schedule as many meetings as I can whenever I am in New York City. Last week at Bridal Fashion Week was no exception. There was one day I had a meeting every 90 minutes! I always love to dress sharply for a business meeting. Arriving in jeans, shorts, or flats is a big no no for me (unless I have a foot injury), so I usually stick to a chic dress or a nice midi skirt, like this one.

I miss living in New York City. I lived there for four years total, first starting in Brooklyn Heights, then moving to the Upper East Side, and finally spending my final year in NYC living in Midtown (as Miss USA in the titleholder apartment). And while NYC and Los Angeles are incredibly different, I find myself being able to call both cities home. Whenever I return to New York, I feel a sense of homesickness for it especially as I watch the city go by right before my eyes. It certainly is an incredible city.

I love this skirt. Does it fall below the knee? It looks like it does in your pics but on the express website it’s visibly above the model’s knee. I’m just trying to find out its exact length! Thanks!
