Ingredients: - 1/2 cup butter - 1 cup sugar - 2 eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla - 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon milk - 1 3/4 cup flour - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 2 teaspoons baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda - 2 handfuls of strawberriesFirst, preheat your oven to 350F. Next, preheat a small skillet on high heat and place the butter inside. Once the butter is mostly melted, reduce the heat to low so you do not burn the butter. Let simmer on low heat until melted and brown. Set aside to let cool. Meanwhile, slice and chop up the strawberries on a cutting board. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla together. Next, add the brown butter and mix. Finally, add the milk and mix. In a second mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Finally, add the chopped strawberries and mix. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Pair with a delicious cup of hot chocolate or scrambled eggs for an easy, yummy breakfast!
I was first introduced to brown butter when I created sticky toffee pudding at Gordon Ramsay’s Steak restaurant in Las Vegas and paired it with brown butter ice cream. Since then, I have made brown butter ice cream at home but then I began to wonder what else I could make with brown butter. I recently received a tweet asking me if I could post about muffins. I then noticed I had some organic strawberries in my refrigerator and decided to create a brown butter strawberry muffin.
Ingredients: - 1/2 cup butter - 1 cup sugar - 2 eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla - 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon milk - 1 3/4 cup flour - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 2 teaspoons baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda - 2 handfuls of strawberries

Hi! Excellent culinary skills… I heard you _lost_ the million dollar Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off ! what a shame… “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….” I missed the show, but any who can recall that split arrow… Peace and Love
