Velvet is THE fabric of the moment, so this holiday season why not dress in style for all your events in the chicest and best velvet blazers? As soon as December rolled around, I immediately pulled out my green velvet blazer since it is more than perfect for the holidays. With that said, I am sharing several of my favorite velvet blazers under $200 in four colors that you can't go wrong with - green, blue, red, and black.

Green

Some of the best velvet blazers this autumn and winter season have been in different shades of green. Green is not a typical everyday color, but of course during the holidays it becomes one of the best colors you can wear. Green velvet can be exceptionally sharp and the perfect layering piece over a dress or suit for any holiday party. I love this one and this one, as they are similar to my green velvet blazer. This one is also perfect for the holidays.

Blue

When you think of the best velvet blazers, you wouldn't necessarily think of the color blue first. But as it turns out, this year there are some beautiful blue blazers. One outfit idea would be to pair a blue velvet blazer with a camel corduroy or even velvet pair of jeans. I love this buttoned blue blazer, but I am also obsessed with this light blue blazer.

Red

Red velvet is also a great style and color for the holidays. The perfect deep wine color also goes incredibly well with an evergreen. It also goes well with camel, white, and black. You can't go wrong with a double breasted blazer, such as this one and this one. There's also this longline blazer that I love, and this tie-sleeve blazer for a feminine effect.

Black

Normally I steer clear of black if I can. I find it a depressing color, but sometimes it's also the sharpest color when the occasion calls for it. Some of the best velvet blazers are in fact a deep charcoal or black color. As much as I dislike it, black goes with everything and makes other colors pop, such as red or yellow. This one and this one are two very sharp black velvet blazers, as are this one and this one.
