Yumi Kim coat c/o, See by Chloé sweater (also available here, less expensive version here and here), Jeffrey Campbell boots, Madewell jeans, Rebecca Minkoff bag (less expensive version here and here), Bobbi Brown Crushed matte lipstick in Cherry c/o
I've always wanted a red button down coat, but for a while I thought I'd never have any place to wear it because we were not traveling to colder places as much. Once that changed, I was excited to see that Yumi Kim had released this gorgeous long red coat. It's form fitting while also being roomy enough for a thick sweater to keep me warm underneath. Originally I had planned to wear all black underneath it, just like the Duchess of Cambridge did on one of her first public engagements before the royal wedding back in 2011. Wearing all black underneath would have made it more formal, so I decided to pair it with jeans and a cozy lace-up sweater. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13944,13949"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13946,13950"] All kinds of boots work perfectly well with a bold red coat, whether it be a white boot, camel boot, black boot, or even red boot. If we end up heading back to Canada this winter, I'd pair this red coat with my red rain boots. It's not too much red at all. For this look, I paired one of the coolest additions to my shoe closet this year - these patterned boots with a statement red heel. It helped make the red coat stand out even more, and this look would work well in both fall and winter. There’s nothing bolder in cold weather than a statement red coat. Whether I am walking the streets of Los Angeles, New York, London, or Reykjavik, a bold red coat is sure to turn heads. Red is also a great winter color that goes with everything and can be dressed up or down very easily.

You look like a complete and utter boss in this outfit! Just so amazing and sophisticated! I know you want to travel to the UK and that you love history so I was wondering if you have ever heard of Hever Castle? They have a hotel actually at the castle and I thought you would like to stay there ( as you are a history lover) if you ever visit it if you come back to the UK again! Here is the link https://www.hevercastle.co.uk/stay/bed-breakfast/ let me know if you have a look ! I loved all your Iceland posts and I am very much looking forward to the Vlogs!!
Thank you so much Ariana!
