Some of my favorite pieces on my Mexico packing list are:

* This ruffle tropical dress that I will wear to Tor's birthday dinner
* This puffed sleeve top and matching skort (ADORE these pieces)
* A crochet swimsuit and a lace one (on sale!)
* These frayed sandals and these espadrille sandals
* This seashell clutch and this handwoven wicker bag from Portugal
* This fringed hat (currently on sale for just $10!)
* This mousse sunscreen and a similar spray sunscreen
* These satin pajamas
* This perfume that's perfect for the beach
I plan on doing a whole post dedicated to every outfit I will wear in Mexico, as I believe these will be some of my most fun and colorful looks yet!

Since my Napa packing list was so popular, today I am sharing my Mexico packing list as we are off to Cabo this week for Tor’s birthday! After spending the last few months traveling around California and Arizona, we are packing our bags once again but this time we are heading south to Cabo San Lucas for a few days.
Believe it or not, but I have never been to Mexico before! Tor has been to a few border towns in Mexico, but I haven’t been at all. And neither of us can say we have been to Cabo. It’s been on our list for a while, as are Tulum, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen. I knew I wanted to take Tor somewhere for his birthday and felt a quick flight to Cabo was the perfect escape from Los Angeles.
For our trip, I’ve been packing a lot of fun colors for my outfits but I have mostly been focusing on a lot of whites and reds. When Tor saw all of my clothes laid out on the bed to begin the packing process and shoot my Mexico packing list for the blog, he said, “Wow, your looks are very ‘Mexico’!” At least I got the seal of approval from him!
I’m not packing any jeans for this trip, except for the ones I will wear on the plane. This trip will solely be skirts and dresses, so prepare yourselves for lots of pics of me twirling nonstop!

Have fun in Mexico! 😊 I went to Cancun a couple years back with my parents and absolutely loved it! However my parents weren’t big fans of salt or seawater so we only visited the beach for a few short times. I would recommend NOT missing the beach like I did. One of my favorite treasures I actually found on the beach there, a gorgeous silver bracelet of suns that was buried in the sand. It was seconds away from being picked up by the tide and there wasn’t a person in sight who to claim it, especially at 7 in the morning.
Luckily our hotel on the beach is one of the few with beach access, so we will definitely be hitting that up! And what an awesome find! That’s a fun story to share from your trip 🙂
Hope you both have a great time! 😀 Never gotten to go to Cabo before, but I’ve heard it’s amazing. (Only times I went to Mexico were in high school, I was in Tijuana with my church, building houses and doing childcare.)
Tor has been to Tijuana! I haven’t been to Mexico at all, so this will be an adventure!
Tijuana was great 🙂 At the end of the trip, we always went to this little taco place in Rosarito that had Jarritos sodas, and amazing tacos. Unfortunately, the first year I was there, the group of girls I was with decided to abandon me…the one thing they told us not to do was not to leave anyone alone!…because they didn’t feel like waiting for me to buy a lighter, when I’d been waiting for them to buy hats and blankets, and they’d been ridiculing me for anything I wanted to buy 🙁 (Church girls can be bullies!) The guys found out and came to find me, though, so I ended up being safe. Every year after that, they insisted on taking me around the market, too, so that wouldn’t happen again.
I can not await the Photos from you and Torrance in Mexico.
I wish you both a wonderful time in Mexico.

Thank you so much!
Hope you and Tor have fun in Mexico! 🙂 I really like this kind of post, your packing list and I can’t wait to see the post dedicated to every outfit you will wear during your trip! (P.S. I’m in love with the red dress you’re wearing in this post! Is it the one you were wearing in one of your ig stories some time ago?)
Thank you, Francesca! Feedback like that is important and now I know to keep doing more of these posts for you! And yes, the dress I am wearing in this post I wore on IG last week! This time I have linked it so you can shop it (and it’s on sale!).

Thank you, Debbie!
Hi Alyssa! First, I love that red dress you’re wearing 😍😍. Also, I have a question, have you tried the crotchet bathing suit out in water yet? If so, how does it hold up? I’m wondering if it might stretch after being in the water. I really love the look of it!!!
These pieces look gorgeous! Can’t wait to see how you style them, and hope you have fun in Mexico! My godparents own a vacation condo in Sayulita, which means I definitely NEED to visit one of these days, right? Also, happy early birthday to Torrance! 🙂
Have fun. I think you should visit pacific islands. Those are islands were amazing, my friend visited Maldives recently and she loved it. If you plan on islands visit next time , visit there. Can’t wait for your photos….
So love the red dress. I hope you guys have a fantastic and safe trip. Give Torrance a happy birthday kiss from me, please. Thanks.

Hi Alyssa, I’m new in your blog, the first time I saw you was on a post of your husband, I love Reign so I was kind of stalking all of the Instagram accounts of the actors on it. So I saw your profile and I fell in love with your style and your beautiful photography.
I think you are absolutely gorgeous and I love you and Torr, you’re so cute, you’re a power couple.
Your photos are always amazing, your photographers are really good and you are very beautiful so in every photo you look incredible (with or without makeup).
I wanted to know if you use an app or do you use Photoshop to edit your photos because they always have a sweet kind of blue tone or effect.
I hope you enjoy your travel to Mexico, you should come to Colombia.
I’ve traveled all around the world but I have never been to Mexico, it’s definitely on my travel list! I have to admit I’m obsessed with your white swimsuit.
Much love, Tiffany Lea
