Carrie Forbes sandals (also available in black and grey, similar here), JOA stripe bow top (last seen here), Miguelina skirt (last seen here), Clare V Tote, Stila lipstick
When I first began blogging, I used to wear the same sandals over and over again because I focused more on heels with my looks (thanks to my former pageant background). While there's nothing wrong with having one or two pairs of sandals, mine were not very comfortable at all. So this year, I made sure to find the best that suited any look, day or night, and I found my favorite summer sandals. I wore them here and here. They're on sale right now, and they were the first comfortable pair I had purchased in a long time. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="12924,12918"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="12925,12920"] [caption_box id="1"] I also acquired these raffia sandals two months ago, and after some breaking in, I wear them with almost every outfit when we go out. You have probably seen a bunch of bloggers wearing them lately, and there's plenty of reason why. They are the epitome of the best summer sandal. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="12916,12928"] But my two favorite summer sandals this year have been this one and this one, both by the same brand. It's like walking on cushions. I wore them in Victoria here and in Vancouver here. These ones have become my "errands" sandals. I leave them at the front door so if I need to run out quickly, I can slip them on easily and be comfortable. They also go with everything, whether I am dressed down or dressed for the day. Below are a few more of my favorite summer sandals, including these ones in blue and red that make me want to take a trip to Disney World!Photos by Felicia Lasala.
It’s officially August, which means we have a month and a half left of summer and a month and a half left of me getting to wear my favorite summer sandals. I think this past summer season, I have accumulated more sandals than in summers past and for good reason – there’s a lot of good ones!
