No matter what time of year it is, floral is a pattern that can be worn effortlessly day and night. The fall floral dress is one of my favorites to style, as the style combinations are endless. This probably explains why this is also my favorite time of year to play around with mixing different patterns of florals. Many wouldn’t think dressing in florals in the cold would be fashion appropriate, but as it happens another favorite style of mine is to pair a floral dress with the coziest faux fur coat for a chic contrasting look.
These reasons alone are enough for me to keep filling my closet each season with the perfect fall floral dress. In the autumn season, the pastel and bright floral dresses of springtime and summer are put away, and the darker dresses, as well as those with shades of orange, rust, spice, and burgundy, are put in their place. Below are some of my favorite styles right now, with each dress being one I would currently wear this fall season.
DARK FLORALS
Normally I am not someone who finds themselves interested in dark colors, but some of the darker fall floral dresses this year have convinced me otherwise. I’ve had my eye on this one for a while, as well as this one, since both would pair perfectly with my white coat. I also love this one that’s on sale for under $50.
ORANGE/RED FLORALS
You know fall has arrived when the florals switch to these beautiful colors, and rightfully so. Bright florals are typical for spring, but they also work perfectly for fall as well, especially when paired with brown boots. As for my favorites, there’s this one that’s perfect for date nights and this one that’s under $90.
