Happy Monday, A-Listers! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! We kept it pretty low key with just a few friends for some small plates and a few naughty rounds of Cards Against Humanity (we ran to get the latest 3 expansion packs just for the occasion!). Growing up, Easter was like the spring version of Christmas. My mom would wake up super early to line Easter eggs outside my door and my sister's door, and we would have to follow those eggs into the living room or dining room where a large basket of chocolate and jelly beans awaited us! But there were always treats inside the eggs too, whether they be more chocolate and jelly beans or a cute keepsake. My mom went all out for holidays and I am 100% certain I inherited that from her! My Easter wardrobe as a child usually always featured florals and pastel colors. Easter is like the official holiday welcoming spring (you hear that, Toronto? No more of this snowy business!). Nothing says spring more than bold florals. I know of some friends who are too nervous to attempt florals because they are convinced they will look like their grandma, but when florals are done right there's no need to worry about that! I have been trying to add more florals to my wardrobe, so when I came across this two-piece from Sam & Lavi I knew I hit a jackpot. I was first drawn to the bold colors through the ensemble, and since I did not want to overpower or overshadow them I chose to pair them with white accessories to make the florals pop even more. I tend to avoid shorts (don't know why, just not a fan of shorts) so I can see myself wearing this skirt throughout the summer. Just the right amount of pop and fabric for some epic twirling! Top: Sam & Lavi | Skirt: Sam & Lavi | Heels: Chinese Laundry (old, similar here) | Clutch: Reiss (old, similar here) | Lips: Givenchy Lipstick and Dior Lip Maximizer Lip Plumper [show_shopthepost_widget id="648280"]

Love the look!!
So lovely skirt! I like midi skirt. So warmly? In my city cold and rains
I love how you allow the clothing to speak for itself instead of overloading your outfits with jewelry/accessories. Beautiful! 🙂
