This past Friday, I turned 24. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday in Toronto while my beau continues filming his t.v. show. Usually when we hang out with our friends, we tend to go out to dinner and grab drinks afterwards. But to celebrate my birthday, we decided to host a brunch instead at one of our favorite brunch spots in Liberty Village – Mildred’s Temple Kitchen (of course I got my favorite blueberry pancakes!). Since my birthday fell on a weekday, we got together with our friends on the weekend, which happened to be the following day. It was small and simple but most certainly one of, if not the best, birthday celebration I’ve had so far.
I would also just like to say thank you for those who reached out and sent me well wishes for my birthday. It really meant a lot to me and you all definitely made me smile (and blush!). xoxo

Hey Alyssa! Lovely post 🙂 I was wondering if you could share details about your hair products? It always looks to sleek and shiny. I know you dyed yours recently, and I’m curious how you keep it hydrated. I dyed mine dark blonde recently and find that it is now so tangly and dry! Also, your ponytails and buns are always very sleek looking, and I am so jealous! I have a ton of whispies around my temples that NEVER grow out and I find it so hard to tame them naturally without caking on a ton of greasy/rock hard looking hairspray. Sorry for the long message, but I admire your grace and elegance and respect your advice! You were the best Miss USA!
