Finally sharing these images from my most recent trip to New York. New York is officially one of my favorite cities to shoot in. The light in the city is much different than Los Angeles’ light. New York feels more dreamy (no offense, LA). Maybe I am biased because I lived in New York for years before moving to California, yet I find myself missing New York more and more after each trip.

For those that have been following me since my Miss USA days, there are some quirky things you probably know about me (that I am a huge Star Wars nerd, that I am constantly reading history books, etc). But there are some facts that not too many people know about me that I thought would be fun to share with my A-Listers!
1. I am a natural blonde. I dyed my hair red for a part in a school play in October 2005 and kept it for 10 years before beginning to make the transition back to my natural color.
2. Although I am a super proud cat mama, I actually grew up with dogs. Renly and Daenerys are my first cats. Ever.
3. 3 is my bad luck number. I do everything in my power to avoid anything with a 3. Unfortunately I couldn’t avoid this 3.
4. I was technically named after Alyssa Milano. Although my parents were convinced I was a boy and called me “Vincent” while I was in the womb, my mom was watching David Letterman one night where a super young Alyssa Milano was his guest and she loved the spelling of her name.
5. I didn’t receive my first cell phone until I was 14, and it was my dad’s car phone. Whoop whoop!
6. I could put horseradish on everything. EVERYTHING. I am even designing our wedding menu around horseradish. There needs to be horseradish!
7. There are three foods that make me gag whenever I look at them: mayonnaise, honey, and guacamole.
8. In 2005, I started a Trick or Treat for UNICEF charity in my hometown and raised over $2,500 that Halloween. I was then named as an Honorary UNICEF Ambassador.
9. I graduated from high school a year early.
10. I have a huge fear of the ocean and boats. You will never catch me on a cruise. Or sailing. Or snorkeling (unless the water is 10 feet deep and crystal clear).

My parents also though I was a boy when I was in the womb (I was going to be “Stephen” haha)! The dress looks really fantastic with you, and it looks especially perfect with your engagement ring (so excited for the wedding by the way)!
