Outfit changes (especially ones in the back of the car) are quite the norm during NYFW. I am not complaining though, since I'm the kind of girl who would gladly change her outfit for each meal of the day (I think that's why I am obsessed with the Edwardian era). I love sharing my diversity in fashion and style through different outfits. Since I am also the type of person who can never seem to make up their mind, outfit changes give me a chance to wear all that I want to in a short span. I'm a sucker for maxi dresses (no surprise there), especially flowing ones. This patterned maxi dress by Veronica Beard is the perfect fall maxi dress thanks to it's soft fabric and patterns. Since the heat finally broke in NYC midway through NYFW, I decided to pair my maxi dress with a chic blazer also from Veronica Beard's latest collection. I used to think pairing blazers and maxi dresses wouldn't look good on me or make me look shorter. On the contrary, they're a very smart duo! Off the shoulder has probably been the biggest trend of 2016, and it shows no signs of stopping. But another big trend this past season has been ruffled sleeves, so partner an off the shoulder dress WITH ruffled sleeves and you've got a winner. Since NYC was unbearably hot in the beginning of NYFW, I made sure to stay cool and stylish in an off the shoulder dress by Milly (a brand I ADORE). Part 2 of my NYFW fashion diary features a few favorites, including pairing a flowing maxi dress with a chic blazer and an off the shoulder dress with an elaborate braided bun.
