I think I was supposed to be born a Brit. It’s no secret how much I love London. I think we have been to London about 7 times in the past two years because I love it that much. A majority of our friends call London and England home as well as some of my husband’s family. I’ve loved London since before I even first visited the city, and ever since my first visit several years ago, I’ve only loved even it more. I’m waiting for the day my husband tells me he’s booked a film or show that films in London because I would move there in a second if I could. From Venice, we flew to London. A trip to Europe for me is no successful trip to Europe without a stop in London.
When Tor and I planned our honeymoon, I told him we were ending it in London and that it wasn’t negotiable! He didn’t complain though, as his manager ended up setting up meetings for him in London which gave me time to explore all the historical sites I enjoy visiting. The history buff in me always needs to visit the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. I also visited the National Portrait Gallery which was celebrating the Vogue 100. We met up with one of Tor’s co-stars in Covent Garden for brunch, and she proceeded to take us to Primrose Bakery (she knows I have a big sweet tooth). I indulged in a rose flavored cupcake (pretty much my life) but I also could have easily devoured their chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake.
London was BEAUTIFUL when we arrived and it remained so for the entire long weekend we were there. There was only one cloudy morning, but even so we did not complain. We walked everywhere in London. We never hailed a cab and only took the Tube for longer distances (I’m a native New Yorker so riding the Tube is no big deal for me at all, plus I have the Underground map memorized at this point!).
The Chelsea Flower Show was happening at the same time we were there, so it was only appropriate for me to wear this floral dress while in London. I love the bold prints so much as well as the fabric. As with most dresses, I loved to twirl in this one.
After three weeks in Europe, it was time to head home to Los Angeles. But I look forward to returning to Europe (and London) in the fall!
That bakery is adorable and those cupcakes look delicious! And you are as beautiful as ever in that floral dress! <3

They were delicious! And thank you!
That is such a beautiful dress! And I agree with you that London might be one of my favorite places to visit. It’s such a great city!
