As a girly-girl, I own more dresses and skirts than I do pants and shorts. But as the autumn season has finally hit Los Angeles, sometimes it’s just a little too cold for my liking to wear a skirt or a dress (although I still find plenty of reasons to wear them anyway). This past year culottes made a big impact on the fashion world. I’ve done several posts about them, but I think these Camilla and Marc culottes are my favorite.

I am obsessed with the buttons on these culottes. Green is not really a popular color in my closet (despite that being the color of my gown at Miss USA), but when I saw these culottes I thought they would be perfect for fall. For this look I paired these culottes with a simple white button down, but they would also go well with an oversized sweater or leather jacket.
If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll probably remember about a week and a half ago that I tumbled all the way down the stairs in our house while on my way to feed my cats their breakfast at 6 am. My body was covered in bruises and most of the cuts were on my arms and hands. I posted on Twitter that there was a big chance you’ll be seeing bandages in a future blog post. Well, today is that post! I could have Photoshopped them out, but why? I kind of take pride in my clumsiness. You’ll see in a few pictures I have bandages on my arms (I basically scraped off a few layers of skin in my nasty fall). I just do not feel like hiding them. And guess what? Falling down the stairs happens. I think sometimes our egos get bruised more than our bodies when that happens. But oh well! We get up, slap on a bandage, and laugh it off!
