What a weekend! It's been a crazy one in the Coombs/Campanella house. I had no idea house hunting could be so exhausting and stressful! Darn those HGTV shows - they make it look so easy! And how do they make those decisions in one day?! It's taking us a few days to tick all our boxes and weigh the pros and cons. Hopefully this week we will get "the One" and then I can inundate our current living room with lots of home decor magazines! This past week was insane with a Disneyland trip, a gathering of costars from T's television show, an awesome digital campaign collaboration with a major cosmetics brand, a sick dinner at what will be the new STK Beverly Hills (the restaurant is still under construction yet our friends hosted an incredible preview dinner within the construction zone!), brunches with old friends, dinners with old friends, and a French cooking class with T (he had never taken such a class before so I was very excited to introduce him to my culinary world!). So far I really like being back home in Los Angeles, even if it was oddly chilly the past few days (which did NOT stop us from riding Splash Mountain). And now that it's summer, I can happily transition my clothes to more summer appropriate colors. White is my FAVORITE color to wear in the summer as of lately. Which you'd think it wouldn't because I am naturally oh so pale! But ghost-like features aside, white is a beautiful color to wear in the summer especially in California. I first got into the idea of having more of a white or ivory summer wardrobe after seeing these culottes from Chelsea28. I decided to take a risk and pair it with a white lace blouse. At first I thought, "Wait - is this TOO much white?!" But then while walking around the neighborhood with T, it felt just right. With that said, be prepared to see a bunch of white in the coming months!
